‘Rick And Morty’ Season 3 Release Date Delayed; Latest Reasons Revealed

“We are going as fast as we can my brother. I'm not authorized (nor would I really be able) to give you an airdate for season 3,” Don Harmon responded when asked on the premiere date of “Rick and Morty’s” third installment.

Harmon is one of the creative minds behind the hilarious sci-fi series. The show and its team are bombarded with questions on its fixed release date since viewers are expecting a grand launch this year.

Erica Rosbe, one of the writers of the animated program shared recent updates on the intensive production that the hit show is going through.

“We ended four weeks ago, I think. I think they're done soon, they're done really soon. I think in a week or two they're going to have screenings in the production office.”

Rosbe confirmed that the plot has been written but the grueling animation process is causing the time lag of the premiere.

The disappointing delay on the airing of “Rick and Morty” season 3 has been intensified by a Reddit user PopDavid, who claims to be a Design Assistant on the show. He advised the strong followers of the black comedy to anticipate a 2017 premiere date instead.

According to PopDavid, most of the released information regarding the schedule of “Rick and Morty” were false.

“Dan and the writers keep putting out info that’s not entirely accurate.”

While the credibility of the said crew member remains uncertain as of the moment, it is best to wait for the official statements of the showrunners. Who knows, everyone will be in for a wacky treat this coming holiday.  Fans of the series are likely to see the dangerous escape of Rick from prison with the help of his best ally, Morty. With a total of 14 episodes, who wouldn’t dare to miss the crazy adventures of the entire gang?
