Hi-Rez studios had teased their upcoming OB38 update following the reveal of the new champion Sha Lin in the previous OB37 patch. The OB38 is expected to include new content addition such as skins, events and map. Based on the patch preview conducted by the developers yesterday, a new skin from Champion Ruckus has been highlighted including a modified Serpent Beach map.

As seen on the YouTube video posted by Hi-Rez Studios, Ruckus will be getting new skins with a variety of hue including its new Legendary skin called Starslayer. The new skin is a complete remodel for the adorable goblin-mech Champion. For the record, this would be the first Legendary Skin to be added to the game since the day it was launched. The Starslayer bundle includes all the head, body and weapon parts along with the voice pack which would change the champion's voice during communication.

The skin model makes Ruckus more appealing than before with its new overall appearance. On the other hand, fans will also expect reworks on the current maps of Paladins. The patch preview highlights one of these maps called the Serpent Beach which has been reworked with a new nighttime environment. It is a bit exciting since the new map separates itself from the latter maps which features a very bright daytime environment. As seen on the screenshots, the map has added more hype to the game mode.

Additionally, Paladins lead designer, Hi-Rez Thomas, has shared some of the upcoming contents to be added on Paladins that are currently under development. He said that they are currently working on three maps that are on their early phases. He also added that they are planning on adding new game modes in the future. In addition, Thomas said that their focus is mainly on Siege Mode as of the moment.

Meanwhile, Paladins will be hosting their Weekend Event which unlocks all the heroes while also granting players up to 9 Radiant Chests during the whole duration of the event. The event will start on Nov. 18 and ends on Nov. 20, 2016
