Pokemon Sun And Moon Tips: Locate Eevee, Pikachu, Pichu And Growlithe

With the much-anticipated release of Pokemon Sun and Moon, a huge amount of players have been exhausting their efforts to encounter the bushy-tailed Eevee, electric mouse Pikachu and the fire-pup Growlithe.

Chances of running into these Pokemon may be hard but players still take on the challenge to encounter them, because who doesn't love them anyway? These starters may be available by default early in the game. However, they are not the Pokemon you can easily catch. Here we will be covering the locations of Eevee, Pikachu, Pichu and Growlithe.

Eevee's Location: Route 4, HeaHea City, Alkala Island

Eevee is probably one of the best Pokemon because of its eight evolutions including Jolteon (Electric), Vaporeon (Water), Flareon (Fire), Umbreon (Dark), Leafon (Grass), Glaceon (Ice), Espeon(Pyschic) and Sylveon. One of its most notable skill is its adaptability, which probably is the reason for its multiple evolutions.

In order to catch one, the player needs to reach Alkala Island first. This is the second island you'll visit on your journey. From HeaHea City, head to Route 4 and you will be encountering an Eevee in the first patch of grass you see along the way.

Pikachu and Pichu's Location: House, Melemele Island; Spawning Area: Hau'oli City

Pikachu, the most loved and most wanted Pokemon in the game, can be found as soon as you begin your adventure in Melemele island, the first island you'll be traversing.

Both Pikachu and Pichu are located there. To begin, between your house and the place where you will meet Kahuna Hala for the festival, you can spot Pikachu in the two patches of grass before the first flight of stairs you will see. If this does not work out, there are other breeding areas inside Hau'oli City and Pikachu turns up on all the patches of grass there.

It is also possible to encounter Pichu in those areas, which means that you have the option to capture it and evolve it instead of catching Pikachu. It is important to remember that you won't be seeing Pikachu or Pichu in other islands so you better explore Melemele island and catch the electric mouse before proceeding.

Growlithe's Location: Route 2, Melemele Island

Just like Pikachu and Pichu, the fire Pokemon Growlithe is also found on Melemele island and you probably won't see one on any other islands. In order to catch Growlithe, head on to Route 2 and that's where you typically find it.

For those who do not know, Growlithe has a superb sense of smell. Meaning, once it smells anything, this Pokemon will not forget the scent no matter what. Its cutting-edge olfactory sense is used to determine the emotions of other living things. When a firestone is used on the Pokemon, Growlithe evolves into Arcanine.

We have summed up the location of each Pokemon in the game. By just carefully following the instructions above, Growlithe, Pichu, Pikachu and Eevee can be captured spot on. Stay tune for more guides including some tips and tricks regarding the Pokemon Sun and Moon.
