To get you started, Golisopod evolves from Wimpod at level 30. It's a Bug/Water-type Pokémon with a unique emergency exit ability. As for its gender, it is equally divided into male and female. Know that Golisopod works differently on Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. At daytime, Golisopod uses a blinking slash of its giant sharp claws to split seawater, and even air, in two. At nighttime, Golisopod uses its six sharp claws in battles masterly but most of its time is spent serenely in the depths of the ocean.

Take note that its Emergency Exit ability allows the Pokémon to vanish into thin air whenever its HP drops to 50 percent or less. However, it can learn the First Impression move which is perfect after this Pokémon switches out.

With regards to its base stats, Golisopod has 75 HP, 125 Attack, 140 Defense, 60 Special Attack, 90 Special Defense and 40 Speed. This Pokémon is weak to Flying, Electric and Rock types. Like many other Pokémon, Golisopod has many moves to learn as it levels at up. At level 48, it can learn the physical attack Liquidation which has 85 power and 100 percent accuracy.
