"Thor: Ragnarok" upcoming movie is indeed jam-packed with big surprises. The third film in the Thor series will bringing together Cate Blanchett and Jeff Goldblum on the big screen. Now, there is a rumored new cast addition that you may never expected to be included in a movie like Thor: Ragnarok.

WWE Wrestler John Cena is reported to be part of Thor: Ragnarok. Several fans are stand speculating what role he might play. It seems his role in the film will be simple for him as he will reportedly make a cameo as himself.

Thor: Ragnarok Cast

Fans are looking forward to see Cena and Chris Hemsworth in the film. Will he be a friend or a foe of the lead characters? If the rumors are true, Cena might also do a scene with Mark Ruffalo and other Thor: Ragnarok cast members. Cena being cast in Thor: Ragnarok is yet to be confirmed by someone involved in the project. Although his image in the film is not yet officially confirmed, many fans are just so thrilled to see him when Thor: Ragnarok hits the big screens.

Spoilers for Thor: Ragnarok movie suggest that Thor will battle against the strongest intergalactic aliens that set to foot on Earth for an invasion. Fans are now speculating that Cena will be a recruit from Earth chosen to fight. Given the reputation of Cena as a WWE wrestler, the fan theory can be realistic too.

 Thor: Ragnarok is under the direction of Taika Waititi of "What We Do in the Shadows". It stars Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Anthony Hopkins as Odin. Idris Elba is also part of the cast as Heimdall and Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk. Cate Blanchett plays Hela and Tessa Thompson is cast as Valkyrie.
