2018 Corvette ZR1 Spied, Appears To Have More Power Under The Hood

The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is undeniably up there with the most beautiful and powerful cars in the world. Given this fact, there is a lot to be expected in the 2018 model. Spy shots have been floating around lately and they say the 2018 Corvette ZR1 may have become a lot more powerful.

The Grinning 2018 Corvette ZR1

Autoblog reported that despite being camouflaged, there are some undeniable changes in external features that the eyes can easily tell like the front end that appears to have a new look along with the bumper that bulges like it is hiding something big underneath. Accordingly, it is possible that there is a bigger version of the 1.7-liter supercharger that is found in the current model of the Z06. The same report also stated that an estimated 700 horsepower or more could possibly be the reason of the grinning 2018 Corvette ZR1.

2018 Corvette ZR1 Body Language

They say a lot can be said about the body language. Apparently, this applies to cars also. A report from MSN stated that there was not much cover on the ZR1 and that it allowed some of its features to be seen from a better view. It was mentioned that the front fenders of the ZR1 has three big intakes situated evenly near the edges. Other features include a similar taillight as the one found in Z06 model including the exhausts tips that were termed as bazooka-sized. Apparently, there is more than just one prototype as the same report also mentioned a second one that has also been seen wearing a different rear wing. This means, the ZR1 may come in a couple of trims as reported.

When Can The Corvette ZR1 Show Its Real Form?

With the 2018 Corvette ZR1 appearing like it just got more powerful, people will be more than curious to see what it is all about. It was reported that the 2018 Corvette ZR1 will be making an appearance in the Detroit Auto Show in the first month of the following year.
