Getting both Solgaleo and Lunala may sound impossible to some but in actuality; having two Legendaries is very plausible. Today, we're going to show you how to get both Solgaleo and Lunala in Pokémon Sun and Moon with ease!

Pokémon Sun and Moon: Getting Cosmog

First thing you need to know is that, you need to catch Cosmog. Cosmog evolves into Cosmoem at level 43 which will then evolve into either Solgaleo or Lunala starting at level 53 (depending on your title). So first, what you need to do is finish the game and become the champion of the Alola region. Afterwards, go to your respective Altar; if you're playing Pokémon Sun, it would be Altar of the Sunne, if you're playing Pokémon Moon then it woud be Altar of the Moone. From here, go into the portal and it will lead you to another dimension that is the polar opposite from your world. Note that you should be in the correct time of your world before you can interact with the portal. (Day time for Pokémon Sun and Night time for Pokémon Moon).

Now, after you arrive on the opposite world, fly towards Route 16 and head to the Lake. Then, from the flower fields, make a right and just turn on your first right until you reached a platform. Once you reach the platform, you'll see a cutscene between Solgaleo and Lunala. After that, you'll receive your Cosmog.

Now, after you receive your Cosmog, you'll just need to level it up until it evolves into Cosmoem and into the Legendary Pokémon. Now here's the catch, even though your Cosmog is from the other world and you're leveling it up from the opposite dimension, it would still evolve into the same exclusive Pokémon of your game; which means that if you're playing Pokémon Sun, it will still evolve into Solgaleo nonetheless.

So how do you get Lunala? Simple! Now that you have two Legendary Pokémon, simply trade the other Pokémon to one of your friends. If you still can't find one, simply use the GTS. It's as easy as that! Considering that you're trading a Legendary, it wouldn't take much time to find someone looking for the duplicate Legendary that you have. It's a win-win situation.
