Resident Evil 7 Guide: How To Unlock Both Infected And Escape Endings

Capcom has recently released their third and final demo version for upcoming horror-survival title Resident Evil 7.  The new demo adds a handgun, new monster and two various endings for players to unlock. Apparently, these two distinct endings are easier said than done. Thankfully, a guide is provided on how to unlock both of these endings.

According to the report from Game Rant, one ending is called the bad or infected ending while the other one actually sees the demo's hero escape the Baker family house in one piece. It is said that the Infected Ending is easier to unlock between the two.

In order to unlock the said Resident Evil 7 ending, players need to pull the level located on the fireplace to unlock the secret panel on the wall next to the bookshelf. Enter the panel collect and place the fuse in the fuse box on the wall near the piano and climb upstairs. Head to the attic, ignore the phone and go into the room with the bed and trashcan. Collect some of the important items such as handgun ammo and the basement key.

After getting the key, players can go back downstairs and check the moldy door and go straight down the hallway until players find the gated door. Using the key, walk through dark basement and take a right to get into the small room with some shelves and attic keys. Baker's failed experiments will appear at this point, escaping from them by running back to the attic will unlock the Infected Ending. However, the Resident Evil 7 character won't make it to safety as the infection starts to spread throughout his body.

On the other hand, Resident Evil 7 Escape Ending sees the character escaping the house alive. Most steps and events are similar to the first ending but take note, get the valve in the bathroom and use it on the pipe next to the toilet. By this, it allows players to get a handgun submerged in the bloody toilet bowl. Go around the house and look for ammo. Then, killing the monsters and successfully escaping through the attic will unlock the good ending of the Resident Evil 7 demo.

Resident Evil 7 will arrive on January 24, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, PS VR and Xbox One.
