Nintendo Switch Vs Xbox Scorpio: Battle Of The Opposites

The Nintendo Switch and Xbox One Scorpio price, specs and release date have remained a mystery, but both consoles have the potential to succeed nonetheless, according to one developer. Madmind Studio CEO Tomasz Dutkiewicz believes that the Nintendo Switch is a very clever idea, while the Xbox One Scorpio is capable of delivering some complex visual effects.

Dutkiewicz claims that the Scorpio seems to have all the necessary components to make particle effects and shaders much more complex, which results in more vivid images produced. The Scorpio will truly offer a visible difference from what we traditionally have now.

The Nintendo Switch, on the other hand, is a hybrid console that can be played at home or on the go. It is a part home console and part handheld so to speak. Dutkiewicz describes it as an interesting machine, as well as an original Nintendo idea. He claims that Nintendo always surprises the world with their extraordinary ideas, and that the Switch will be an interesting machine.

The Nintendo January event

Nintendo has already said that it would officially announce and introduce the Nintendo Switch, its price, games list, as well as the exact release date, during a special event in Tokyo on January 13, 2017. In terms of the Nintendo Switch price, reports have claimed that $250-$270 represents the most accurate and reasonable price for the upcoming console.

The Xbox Scorpio will be a powerful console

On the other end, the Xbox One Scorpio is being heavily considered as the most powerful console ever created. It features 6 teraflops of GPU, which will offer 4K gaming, as well as support Virtual Reality. Microsoft remained reluctant on the matter of pricing, claiming that nothing had been confirmed yet and that it will make for an interesting topic further down the line.
