The 73-year-old British Rolling Stones leading man received another blessing, his eighth child. His American girlfriend Melanie Hamrick, a 30-year-old, a professional ballet dancer, gave birth to the couple's first baby together on Thursday.

"Melanie Hamrick & Mick Jagger's son was born today in New York and they are both delighted," the singer's rep told E! News. "Mick was at the hospital for the arrival. Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy now."

Jagger and Hamrick reportedly began their controversial relationship in 2014. However, they've kept it private. In behalf of him, they've announced the ballerina's pregnancy in July. Jagger and Hamrick's newborn son is already have a great-uncle; Jagger became a great-grandfather in 2014 when granddaughter Assisi Jackson gave birth to a baby girl.
