Hairspray Live Was A Success
If you missed the show last night then you are missing half of your life. This is not just a pun or a statement but it was really a heck of a show. Hairspray Live demonstrated a performance like no other. It was really a breath of fresh air. Nowadays, we are accustomed in watching TV series of superheroes, vampires and zombies. NBC then took it the other way, they went retro when it comes to TV show. They showed a Live performance of the adaptation of Hairspray. It was an instant classic.
Jennifer Hudson And The Cast Of Crews
Honestly, I would have named everybody in the crew as they deserve recognition but it will just take much of your time. So we are going to discuss the characters who just stormed the front and literally killed it. Martin Short, Dove Cameron, Kristin Chenoweth, Garrett Clayton and Ariana Grande are just some of the names on the main cast.
However, if there is one character who outperformed everybody on the cast, that would be Jennifer Hudson. We haven't heard a lot from Jennifer Hudson except her being part of The Voice UK. The former American Idol contestant then again made headlines when she used her powerful voice in Hairspray Live. To this day, it is still a puzzle on why she didn't win American Idol but she manages to made her own name already. The singer is also venturing in being an actress, so far, things are going steady for her.
JHud wowed the crowd last night and made an impression to everybody even her co-celebrities. Thousands of tweets showered their praise towards Hairspray live specifically Jennifer Hudson. "Settle in kids, this controlled vibrato is going to make everything feel like it's gonna be okay. #JHud," Anna Kendrick tweeted. "My goosebumps have goosebumps," Debra Messing stated. The Laverne Cox might have the greatest praise to JHud, "[Jennifer Hudson] and that voice are truly a national treasure. That was a show stopper."
