‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 Delay Angered Dan Harmon; Rick’s New Identity Revealed!

Not even a surprise premiere of Adult Swim’s “Rick and Morty” season 3 makes a good consolation to its millions of viewers. Not even to series creator Dan Harmon who reportedly vented out his frustration on Twitter.

As previously promised, the third installment of the hit black comedy will have its grand premiere before 2016 comes to an end. But with barely 3 weeks down the line, still an official release date of "Rick and Morty" season 3 has not been confirmed.

Dan Harmon Lashes Out On "Rick and Morty" Fan

The long wait provoked a fan of the animated sitcom to commenting unfavorably on the slow progress of the show . The tweet was nothing short hard-hitting against Harmon saying, "Someone takes away Harmon's Twitter until he finishes Season 3." With the pressure too heavy to bear, the showrunner fired back with his temper hinting his own disappointment on the series’ alleged delay.

It is not unknown to many that the plot of “Rick and Morty” is hard at humor and did not get away with various controversies especially that the forthcoming installment has promises that remain as big mysteries.

One main reason believed to have caused the delayed launch of the upcoming season is the censorship brought by the show which is feared to impact the sensitive, young audience. There is one particular episode described by Justin Roiland as “the most difficult one to produce” which shows a sex robot that Rick bought for Morty. Roiland is not bothered of the negative comments, though.

“I think that’s just our country. It’s just the way things are. It’s stupid,” Roiland said.

Who Is Hotdog Man?
While patiently waiting for the crazy adventures of Rick and the rest of the gang, here's an interesting feed to satisfy your curiosity.

The “black and white” animated trailer of the third season is described to be part of Rick's bold effort to escape from the intergalactic prison. Surprisingly, Rick is the “hotdog” shaped guy. He tried to splice his genes after turning into a “hotdog” and turned himself into someone powerful by grafting parts of himself, to his new identity including the main “power house” which is his brain. His transformation may sound pretty ridiculous but the creative minds behind this idea have it for the purpose of getting him out of jail.

In addition, Rick's possession of an elite portal gun, allows him to travel to areas he feels visiting to. With his unfixed plans, the scientist cloned himself to represent each universe, shifting into a band of “Ricks'” headed towards a battle against the government.

With all the theories of the show making its rounds in the web, every thirsty viewer of “Rick and Morty” season 3 is up for great deals to have thrilling ideas handy when the program returns to the small screens. Are we welcoming the new year with a blast for a grand premiere of the series? Hopefully, yes.
