Before 2016 comes to an end, Niantic has revealed a chart on the best gym attackers in Pokémon GO. For trainers who are interested to know which Pokémon are best used in gym battles, check this list out so you would know next time how to dominate the game.

Last Nov. 21, Niantic rolled out the patch for Pokémon GO that brought balance tweaks for the game. Just recently, the developer was generous enough to divulge more information about in-game changes. One interesting information is the revelation of Niantic about the top 10 best gym attackers in Pokémon GO. Don't be surprised if your old list of gym attackers won't work anymore because that's basically because of the recent balancing update.

Take a look at the list below for the Top 10 best gym attackers in Pokémon GO. The list comes in order based on individual members of a species according to move set.

Previous list of best attackers in Pokémon GO already included Dragonite, Lapras, Snorlax and Exeggutor. After another update before the current one, Lapras and Exeggutor were ditched from the list and replaced by Rhydon, Vaporeon and Alakazam. Now, the list is dominated again by Dragonite, Vaporeon, Snorlax Exeggutor and Lapras.

Despite the strong criteria these best attackers were based from, many trainers don't completely agree with the entire list. This might be due to the difference in mechanics of a gym battle like matchups. Another factors considered are dodging and total damage output in a battle. The latter is influenced by HP, energy gain from taking and dealing damage and defense.
