Aside from SOS battle, Generation VII also introduced another way of obtaining shiny Pokémon without the use of the traditional breeding method and that is through the Poké Pelago. And today, we're going to show you how to easily get shiny Pokémon in your island without much of an effort - other than waiting.

How to Get Shiny Pokémon in Isle Abeens

Poké Pelago is comprised of small group of islands which is unlocked after the completion of Kiawe's trial. Once unlocked, the first island available to you is the Isle Abeens, this is where you'll obtain the Poké Beans and also, hopefully, your new shiny Pokémon.

So how do you get your shiny? Well first, you need to upgrade your island to Rank 3 as soon as possible. In order to do so, you need to have 30 Pokémon in your PC Box and 90 plain Poké Beans. Leveling this island is vital as it increases the supply of Poké Beans as well as increasing the number of Pokémon that visit you, ergo improving your chances of getting a shiny.

Now, a Pokémon will start visiting your island if there's at least one Poké Bean inside the island's cart (near the tree). Therefore, you'd want to put as much beans as possible (ideally 50) in order to attract as much Pokémon into your island. Afterwards, all that's left for you to do is wait.

Simply log out and wait for a little while then login back again to see if a wild shiny Pokémon has visited your island. It's as easy as that! 

You may think that it'll take a lot longer than SOS battle or breeding but it isn't necessarily the case as more and more players already found numerous shinies in Isle Abeens. But before you try to use this alternative method, remember that there's no guarantee that the Pokémon you found will join your party. There's always a chance that this Pokémon will leave you after a short while. But don't be dismayed as it'll be back sooner or later!
