Final Fantasy XV Holiday Pack: What We Know So Far

It's no late night news that Final Fantasy XV will getting a DLC from developer Square Enix soon. What some players don't know is the fact that it's going to be free. Yes, that's right -- the forthcoming content will be made available to the community, with no money attached. Here's what we know about it so far.

According to Siliconera, although the aforementioned content is free, it's only accessible to players who downloaded the base game on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Also, for those who purchased the Season Pass, it'll arrive as a special Holiday Pack+. Either way, interesting things are on their way.

Among the interesting features coming to Final Fantasy XV via the said content is a new mode. It's called the New Game Plus mode. Here, players will be able to carry over their respective saved data from a certain playthrough (completed) into a brand new one.

Moreover, the forthcoming pack is expected to introduce a couple of outfit accessories. All of these can be equipped to Noctis, the main protagonist of the game. There's also a so-called carnival ticket, which allows players to enter the Moogle Chocobo carnival event. The latter is to be held come January next year, with no exact date as of yet. The Holiday Pack+ for Season Pass members, however, is a bit different. It comes with a good number of extra boosters as well as photo frames (something that can be utilized whenever in-game snapshots are taken).

The standard Final Fantasy XV Holiday Pack comes with a Level Stopper and an Annihilation Victor Song. A Mog Choco T-shirt (which Noctis can wear) is going to be made available, too. The only catch, though, is it's coming to the game in January.

As for the special pack, it has a good number of interesting stuff to offer. For instance, two Noctis exclusive items are coming -- namely, the Command Booster and the Phantom Booster. Two Victory Songs are also expected. These are the Instant Kill Victory Song and the Battle Skill Victory Song. Also part of the list are Key of Fortune, Stamina Anchor and Carnival Style (both exclusive for the main character).
