Galaxy S8 Rumors: Samsung´s Flagship Release Date Could Be Later Than Expected

There has been a lot of Galaxy S8 rumors so far, suggesting many things about its specs, features, and price. However, one of the latest is that the highly-anticipated Samsung´s flagship would be released later than expected, which might present a huge trouble for the South Korean company and the fans who wanted to buy this phone within the first two months of 2017.

Galaxy S8 Rumors: The Flagship Will Be Released In April

According to Tech Radar, Samsung executives had a strategy meeting in New York City and made the decision to delay the Galaxy S8 release until April next year, which totally destroys the previous rumors that suggested that this mobile device would be released as soon as possible as a powerful response to the Galaxy Note 7 incident. In fact, this controversial decision could have been made in order to get as far away as possible from that tragic event in which Samsung suffered a major blow to its reputation, in which many customers got injured.

Although this might be seen as a risky move, Samsung wants that the time to help vanish a little bit the Note 7 fiasco and fill these months with a lot of ads, information, and more Galaxy S8 rumors to make people feel confident in the brand again. Of course, this means that the spotlight is now on Samsung´s marketing team, which have a difficult and delicate task to do.

Galaxy S8 Rumors: The Flagship Will Be Launched In New York City

As reported by 9 to 5 Google, Samsung will release the Galaxy S8 in New York City, a place in which the company launched the Galaxy S4 a few years ago. This way, one of the most important Galaxy S8 rumors seems to be closed, and all we have to do now is wait for the company to release this flagship.

In recent days, there has been a lot of Galaxy S8 running on the web, in which it has been shared that the phone could wear similar specs and features as the Note 7 and that it could be priced around $950, which is not exactly cheap. As it was reported in a previous article, Samsung´s chief doesn't want any more Galaxy S8 rumors, so he told the employees to take some measures about the leaks of information. Nevertheless, it´s possible that this situation could become counterintuitive, considering that customers have to wait longer to see the flagship officially.
