Final Fantasy XV Update: December Patch Reveals Holiday Pack; 60FPS Option Not Found In Patch Notes

Gamers are excited for the upcoming Final Fantasy 15 Holiday Pack, since it will be coming out on Dec. 22. This DLC pack will be made available for those who were able to buy the game. This DLC has also a special version for those who own a season pass. Fans are expecting to see a better performance of the DLC on PS4 Pro during the early part of December 2016, yet this might not possibly happen.

It is already known that the latest update will be integrating additional support for the Final Fantasy 15 Holiday Pack. There is also a free update for the New Game Plus, and players who were able to finish the game should be pleased by this update. Updates are expected to fix problems within a game, thus fans are confident that this could result to a better PS4 Pro experience, according to BitBag.

There was a comparison video that was made by Digital Foundry for the PS4 and PS4 Pro game. It is sad to note though that the PS4 Pro lite mode, which has a 1080p render of the game, did not actually deliver many improvements for the game. Square Enix mentioned about a promised December update for the game, and this update is meant to lock the frame-rate of the game for the PS4 Pro to 60fps. So if this is not possible, they will instead have an unlocked frame-rate of 45 and 60.

The sad news however, is that this patch might not be available in December. There was also no mention about the PS4 Pro patch. On the other hand, it is still possible that Square Enix will be concentrating on informing everyone about the latest Final Fantasy 15 Holiday DLC. Even if the PS4 Pro is not the worst console there is, it still has made a bit of disappointments on players, especially for those titles that didn't look better in terms of resolution.
