Nintendo fans need not give up on their quest for a NES Classic Edition just yet. A couple of stores just announced that they have incoming stocks of the mini NES.

GameStop and Meijer just announced through Twitter that they are getting limited quantities of the rare NES Classic. That gives fans until tomorrow, Thursday, to score one before Christmas which falls on Sunday.

First off, GameStop.

 "GameStop has again received another limited shipment of Nintendo NES Classics today through Thursday. Only available in store, not online. GameStop recommends that customers call their local stores to determine local quantities."

The statement was posted on the gaming-focused retailer's official website on Wednesday, Dec. 21. Those reading this only now still have until tomorrow to get the console. As the company suggested, call the local GameStop store to check for the available number of consoles.

It is also advisable to head to the store early tomorrow morning to line up and possible get a number as most prospective buyers will have the same thing in mind. GameStop stores open at 8 a.m.

The other one is Meijer.

"Limited quantities of this season's hot NES Classic available tomorrow morning."

The retailer also tweeted that those interested should visit their stores for more details.

While Meijer did announce that they are getting some stocks of the mini NES, not everyone across the United States will probably get the chance to line up and get one. That's because Meijer stores are only located in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky. Meijer does have 230 outlets in these states so the chances of those in and near those places are a bit higher. But f course, with how things have been going, one should not expect too much.

Even with these two announcements and the recent availability in Best Buy stores, Nintendo will still not meet the demands for its retro 8-bit console which was launched back in November.
