Two weeks before 2016 comes to a halt, Forza Horizon 3 is bound to roll out the first car pack for 2017. The January 2016 car pack has already been confirmed to arrive with the BMW i8 along with six more cars.

Forza Horizon 3 players can now rejoice as Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios have already confirmed the January 2017 car pack to come with the BMW i8 car, one of the most requested cars in the game to date. Per Team VVV report, "the MW i8 will be making its first ever appearance in a racing game via this upcoming DLC for Forza Horizon 3." Similar report stressed out that the hybrid sports car will be the center of a special Forzathon challenge which is set to take place by January next year.

BMW i8 Release Date

Being one of the most requested cars in Forza Horizon 3, the BMW i8 has maintained its popularity primarily due to its sleek design. The plug-in hybrid sports car was first released in 2014 in Germany whose sales reached 10,000 by November 2016, making the BMW i8 the world's top-selling plug-in electrified sports car. In the meantime, there has not been any further information released detailing the rest of the cars in the January 2017 car pack. However, it was reported that the remaining six cars will be fully introduced on Jan. 03, 2017, a few hours before the new content will arrive on the same day.

Playground Games Adds Microtransaction Option

On other news, Playground Games has just released the microtansaction option on Forza Horizon 3 which allows players to purchase in-game vehicles with real cash. The microtansaction ranges from £0.79-83.49. £0.79 gives players 100 tokens, £2.49 325 tokens, £4.19 575 tokens, £8.39 1,250 tokens, £16.74 2,700 tokens, £41.74 8,000 and £83.49 20,000 tokens.
