Electronic Telepathy Possible in 2017

The possibility of electronic telepathy might be one of the best advances announced this 2016. Multiple studies are being conducted up to now to fully understand the concept of a brain to brain communication but no solid conclusions surfaced to support this mental ability. With the presence of electronic telepathy gears though, speaking without talking might already be possible.

The concept of telepathy still remains as a speculation since no evidence of the supposed mental ability exists. Given that the human brain works in a unique way, scientists still are having a hard time solving the mystery of some brain activities and telepathy is one of those being studied for over a century now. Following this fact, scientists have then been trying to mimic telepathy through devices to make studies possible.

Neuroscientists came up with a theory claiming that an individual's thinking pattern can be learned. This will then make it possible for other people to make a "good guess" of what the former might be thinking. The brain activity of an individual can also be triggered to make him sway his thoughts to what you want him to think, hence influencing his thoughts while making it look like telepathy.

A study has been set up where the researchers placed two people in two different rooms where each of them answered 20 questions on a computer. According to New Scientist, these people successfully transmitted their yes or no answers with each other saying that the EEG caps or the electronic telepathy device they used made it possible. The method was said to be transcranial magnetic stimulation where an electrical current in the other person's brain was triggered by the cap, directing him to the answer of the other person wearing the gear.

As per report, another way to test the activity is to bring together multiple brains under one EEG cap. This strategy is claimed proven by the researchers as they already tested it over monkeys that undergone brain implants. In the experiment, the monkeys were placed under one cap and were triggered to think together so they can control a robotic arm.

The same procedure was done to four rats whose brains were connected together and through a computer through a "brained." As the study was another success, researchers are now thinking of conducting the electronic telepathy study on paralyzed humans to see if the method will make them regain movement again.
