Clash Of Clans Tips & Tricks: When To Upgrade Barbarian King, Archer Queen Without Losing Your Army’s Advantage

Clash of Clans players know too well that as they go further on a higher level, heroes play a vital role in their villages. Without them, it is apparent that a village's army is crippled and weak. This is also made evident when players upgrade the Barbarian King and Archer Queen to a new level. Here's a quick tip and tricks on when to upgrade these heroes without losing a village army's efficiency.

Clash Of Clans - Upgrading Barbarian King, Archer Queen Efficiently

Many Clash of Clans players are still confused whether to level up either the Barbarian King or Archer Queen higher first from the other. Based on many top-level players, heroes level must be kept close to each other. It is important to take note that at least one hero should be stronger to participate in Clan Wars. Unless a Clan War is a staunch one so you'll need both heroes to level up.

Clash Of Clans - Five Levels Gap

Another advantage why you should keep the Barbarian King and Archer Queen levels at par is that it balances your attack and defense. If your Archer Queen is level 35 and your Barbarian King is level 15, upgrading your female hero would hurt your army so badly since the Barbarian King can't do as much damage at level 15. As much as possible, do not go beyond five steps or levels between the two heroes.

Clash Of Clans - Balancing Advantages

However, players must consider what they can get from upgrading these heroes to a certain level. For example, moving the Barbarian King from level 9 to 10 is more advantageous than moving the Archer Queen from level 7 to 8. At level 10, the Barbarian King earns more strength for his Iron Fist, whereas at level 8, the Archer Queen can't do much.

To conclude, it is way better to upgrade the Barbarian King and Archer Queen close to each other so as not to lose your army's advantage.
