Hilaria Baldwin Fitness Hacks: Overcoming Anorexia And Bulimia

Mother of three, yoga teacher, business owner, and wife of actor Alec Baldwin, now Hilaria Baldwin is adding another tab in her list -- an author. However, before she became the health and fitness guru, she is known to be, Hilaria Baldwin battled with eating disorders, anorexia and bulimia. This, as well as other health tips was chronicled in her book. "The Living Clearly Method: 5 Principles for a Fit Body, Healthy Mind & Joyful Life."

"The Living Clearly Method," which was launched on Tuesday, Dec. 27, outlines Hilaria Baldwin's technique of using mindfulness and movement to pursue an unbreakable mind-body connection. The said book, which her husband described would make people fall in love with her wife (before warning them not to), also contains her story before she became a yoga teacher, and her struggles with anorexia and bulimia.

"By the time I was 20 years old, my 5-foot-3 frame was at least 20 lbs. under a healthy weight," Hilaria Baldwin said according to People. She added that her nails became brittle, he had too much hair fall and her period was always delayed. She then discovered yoga, which somehow helped her go back to a healthy lifestyle, but she bounced back to unhealthy habits.

Hilaria Baldwin only had her epiphany when she had a breakdown, literally breaking her bone in 2009. After which, she sought to heal her two-decade-long eating disorder. In the book, Hilaria Baldwin discussed her five simple principles Perspective, Breathing, Grounding, Balance, and Letting Go.

While detailing her life experiences, she also gave tips for running clearly, yoga routines which vary on the person's needs, steps on overcoming bad habits and many others. Among her fitness hacks are drinking tea in the morning and moving after travel to get her circulation moving after a long trip.

"Many people know me as the woman married to Alec Baldwin, who does yoga poses in unlikely places. But there's more to my story than that," Hilaria Baldwin said cited Vanity Fair.
