Battlefield 1 Needs To Add 4 Features In 2017

Battlefield 1 has been quite impressive this year bringing a wide array of unique and exciting gameplay features. Despite the accolade it received from players, the game needs quite a few things to make it more enjoyable and balanced. Here are four features that DICE needs to add in Battlefield 1 by 2017.

Battlefield 1 - Official Servers For Custom Games

DICE badly needs to put up official servers for the Custom Game modes. Since there is no official server for this, it is very strange to get into matches jam-packed with soldiers. As an alternative, matchmaking feature that supports the existing unofficial servers should be implemented in order to pull off a pool of players in one match. No matter which part in Battlefield 1 players will engage in, it is certain that they would enjoy the experience of having more players battle it out against each other.

Battlefield 1 - More Controls For Server Owners

The server rental system in Battlefield 1 became one of the game's selling points when it was launched shortly after the game. Primarily, this allows players to buy their own servers, determine their own set of rules and hold events for their communities. However, DICE and Electronic Arts have somehow forgotten some interesting features for this program.

First, server owners have the sole right and access to tweak its settings which is too much of a daunting task. Allowing other admins to share the responsibility will unload much of the burden from the server owners. Second, server owners' moderation controls are limited. Allowing them to kick out abusive players from the community or prevent unwanted visitors from invading it would be a huge help to maintain a positive and organized atmosphere within.

Battlefield 1 - Changes In Aerial Combat

The Air Superiority mode in Battlefield 4 would be a good feature to bring in Battlefield 1's gameplay. For one, the aerial combat in Battlefield 1 has limited dogfights owing to the limited planes that players can spawn on the battlefield. With the Air Superiority mode, this will change wherein players will be pitted against each other with paper planes and machines.

Battlefield 1 - More Infantry-Centered Maps

Maps in Battlefield 1 have been the best roster among other Battlefield installments. However, its diversity isn't enough to make a more balanced gameplay for that matter. DICE needs to bring in more infantry-focused maps instead of just paying too much attention on vehicles. By March 2017, players should get this treat from DICE when the They Shall Not Pass expansion comes.

Battlefield 1 is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
