Nioh Trailer Released, Demo Looks Like Dark Souls III As Fans Suggest

Team Ninja has suffered a lot in the past as stated by their iconic creative director Tom Lee. Now, with time not on their side, they’ve released a demo trailer of their new game called Nioh but they received mix reactions.

For those who are avid gamers, you will clearly identify on which they have patterned their game. Without the title at the beginning, you might mistakenly guess it as Dark Souls 3 and not the new game Nioh. This action-pack RPG game provided us a glimpse of their demo and some of the fans wildly react about. Numerous YouTube channels and YouTubers commented about the mirror-like similarity of Nioh and Dark Souls.

However, it is too early to judge Nioh based on one trailer alone. Actually, the developers of the game intended to release that specific video to get the reaction of their fans. The exclusive PS4 demo is available to pre-load from PS Store right now. This demo will only be available until midnight(Friday) and will be playable for 48 hours only.

Nioh: Trial Completion

The good thing about the demo trial release is, if you were able to finish it, players will receive a number of prizes in the final release. Interestingly, if players were able to complete the main mission they will receive Ogress headgear. And lastly, maybe the most satisfying rewards of them all is the Mark of the Conqueror and Mark Of The Strong DLC Packs. Players will only receive this if they are successful in beating the Twilight Mission.

Nioh: Creative Director Says It's Their Last Stand

As stated awhile ago, Team Ninja suffered a lot of setbacks in the past. The only way for them to regain their glory is to make an impression with this new game. In a detailed conversation, Tom Lee shared his thoughts about Team Ninja.“In our attempts to appeal to a wider audience, we lost sight of our foundations, our integrity and ultimately our identity.”
