The publisher will host a separate event for EA Play 2017. It has renounced to join the E3 2017 booming show floor. EA To Hold EA Play Leading Up to E3 2017

EA has announced the exclusive event EA Play 2017 to be on June 10 - 12, 2017 in Hollywood Palladium. Right after which is E3 2017 where gaming companies and developers converge to highlight their plans. This guarantees that EA will not join in on one of the biggest gaming event of the year.

"Whether in person or online, EA PLAY 2017 will connect fans around the world to EA's biggest new games through live broadcasts, community content, competitions and more," reads the press release. EA has promised that those who will be attending in their presentation can expect hands-on gameplay and live entertainment.

What EA Play 2017 Might Hold For Gamers

Everyone is wondering on what surprises the EA Play 2017 will reveal. There are expectations that there will be glimpses of Visceral's Star Wars game and Star Wars Battlefront 2, which is expected later this year

EA's sports games FIFA 18 together with an untitled FIFA title for Nintendo Switch, Madden NFL 18 and EA Sports UFC may make an appearance as well. Mass Effect: Andromeda, which will be released in March, will no doubt make room for a DLC later and EA Play is deemed as the perfect event to showcase whatever plans they have for the sequel.

Though this means that EA will not have a stall in E3 2017, its games will probably be featured in Sony and Microsoft booths. For those who cannot personally come in the event, they can still tune in online via livestreams.
