This German Ad For Nintendo Switch Knows Exactly Where You'll Be Playing With It

A lot of hype is building up for the release of the Nintendo Switch - and why shouldn't it? The Nintendo Switch boasts to be the first of its kind, a console-handheld hybrid platform which can be played by everybody, everywhere. A new ad has been released for the Nintendo Switch, and it knows exactly where gamers will be using it.

The German ad for the game features someone playing Mario Kart 8 in the toilet, and to be fair, it does seem that a lot of players will be taking the Switch with them to the bathroom when the call of nature arrives. What started out with magazines, evolved into smartphones, and will evolve into Nintendo's next console.

Of course, the ad doesn't just highlight the fact that players can now play console games while they are in the bathroom; Game Rant has pointed out that the ad also showcases that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe can have up to eight players, thanks to the local wireless multiplayer. It also seems that Nintendo is making a point that this console will be targeted to the young adults in the college level.

As of now, Nintendo looks to be positive about the release of the Nintendo Switch. Unlike the Wii U, which was considered to be a huge flop for Nintendo, the Switch looks to be advertised for exactly what it is, one strong point according to Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime. Fils-Aime also comments that he is confident that a lot of games will be coming to the Switch as well - a weakness that may have led to the downfall of the Wii U.

Will the Nintendo Switch be the next game-changing console? Some people think that the device has great potential - but then again, they could be wrong.

The Nintendo Switch is said to hit shelves this coming March 3.
