Final Fantasy XII: The Age Of Zodiac Release Date Confirmed

Final Fantasy XII was released way back 2006 on the Playstation 2 platform. It was known for its different gameplay and considered to be the game that changed how most RPG games are played. Now, Square Enix is proud to announce that a remake of the game was made and will hit the market this coming July.

Final Fantasy XII: Age Of Zodiac is a remake of Final Fantasy XII that most of the fans played on Playstation 2 a decade ago. The remake of the game now runs smoother with new music, trophies and is tweaked with new gaming technology.

As stated by Rob Fahey who wrote a review of the game a few years ago in Eurogamer's FFXII review: it is "a game which drew on the experience of Final Fantasy's branches into tactical strategy and massively multiplayer, as well as on the more mature storytelling of other mediums, and folded it back into the numbered series to wonderful result." For those who have not played the game yet.

The story revolves around Vaan who has a dream of becoming a sky pirate and Ashe the remaining heir of the Dalmascan throne. Vaan who hated the empire and lived in the streets had his unexpected adventure whe he sneaked into the castle where he found the last heir of the throne who was known to be dead.

The game Final Fantasy XII was known to be the one that changed most RPG game styles. Unlike any other Final Fantasy gameplays, the player controls the characters on a third-person perspective. Instead gaining Gil which is the main currency of the game, players can find loot after defeating enemies which can be sold to shops. Aside from Final Fantasy Remake VII, Final Fantasy XII Age Of Zodiac is definitely worth having.
