T-Mobile HTC One Up For Pre-Order, Comes With A Free Car Dock

Samsung launched the much-awaited Galaxy S4 but HTC's latest flagship HTC One is expected to still be a rival to the Samsung offering. The HTC One has started to reach some customers and now T-Mobile (USA) has also started taking pre-orders for the device, giving the extra incentive of a car dock.

HTC previously announced April 19 as the official release date of the HTC One in the U.S. However, a customer claims that he received the AT&T version of the handset before the official release. T-Mobile has now started taking pre-orders for the handset and the expected shipping date for the device is April 24.

T-Mobile is offering the 16GB Glacial Silver version of the handset at a price tag of $99.99 upfront, followed by 24 monthly installments of $20 each. The total outlay on the handset comes to $579.99 over 24 months. However, if you have spare cash, you can also grab the handset for $579.99 outright. Either way, you end up paying the same amount.

If you are looking for something extra, T-Mobile is also trying to attract customers by throwing in a free car dock for purchases made after pre-ordering the handset via its online store. The carrier states that the free car dock offer is a limited-time offer, but does not indicate how long the offer will run.

The HTC One was also awarded the best new mobile handset, device or tablet at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013. However, the recently launched and highly anticipated top-end Samsung Galaxy S4 seems to have attracted more attention than the HTC One.

The HTC One features top-end features to compete with high-end smartphones such as the Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z, iPhone and more. It will be interesting to see if the HTC One is able to attract more customers and keep other rivals at bay.

If you are looking to buy the T-Mobile HTC One, then head to the T-Mobile pre-order website.
