New "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Distribution Event

While "Pokemon GO" is having its own event right now, the latest installment in the mainline franchise is also planning something special for fans. According to Mic, the latest issue of CoroCoro reveals that Charizard will be the next monster available for digital distribution. The leaked photo reveals that subscribers will have access to a special serial code to unlock the Pokemon.

Furthermore, the said code will be available in next month's edition of the magazine which will release around Mar. 15. For now, Nintendo nor CoroCoro has yet to reveal any finer details around the said distribution. While it is still unsure if the fire-type dragon will come with its own Z-Crystal and special move. However, this Charizard might also come with its specific mega stone that will allow for its Mega Evolution.

On the other hand, those who do not have access to the event can still find a way to get their own Charizard. They can transfer the said Pokemon from the Virtual Console edition of Pokemon Red, Blue or Yellow or make use of the trade system. In line with this, fans can use the Global Trading Station (GTS) or Wonder Trade in hopes of getting the said monster.

Previously, Nintendo gave away a Mewnium Z to celebrate the Pokebank update for the seventh generation, as per Eurogamer. However, it is worth noting that only subscribers to the said service could avail the item. Strangely enough, Nintendo did not opt to release Mew along with the special item.

Fans will have to wait for further news regarding the special Charizard distribution for "Pokemon Sun and Moon." Until then, they can choose to get the Pokemon via trade or raise its pre-evolution, Charmander. Fans can play the latest installment in Pokemon franchise on the Nintendo 3DS.
