DICE Promises HDR Support For Battlefield 1 Consoles

It seems Battlefield 1 players are in for a huge treat. That's because DICE is prepping the next update to be a hefty one. In fact, console players are going to benefit the most, so to speak. A brand new support feature is coming to them in a bit.

According to PlayStationLifeStyle, the studio has released a teaser for the Battlefield 1 fans to devour. This was done through the game's official Twitter account. It basically reveals that the title is ready to receive the highly anticipated Winter update. While nothing specific has been unveiled, the video game company has given the fans sheer excitement.

DICE promised that the forthcoming Battlefield 1 update will be a "strong" one. That, in one way or another, it's unlike anything in the past. And if this is the case, then it's really going to be exciting. Moreover, players can expect massive changes coming to the game.

Also on the aforementioned social media account, the Battlefield 1 developer finally shed some light on an ongoing topic in the community. It's no other than the HDR support, which is primarily for the game's console versions. The studio revealed that, as of the moment, they're "committed" to bringing this feature to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, details, for now, are scarce. But as soon as these are ready, they'll share it to the general public.

Most Battlefield 1 fans believe that this upcoming feature might be part of the Winter update. There are those who also think that it might be introduced via a different patch. Or perhaps, it'll be more than the said speculations.

As for the first ever Battlefield 1 DLC, it's slated to arrive sometime in March. It's titled They Shall Not Pass, and is deemed as one of the many contents coming to the game. It'll introduce a total of four new maps and a new army (French), among others.
