Ark: Survival Evolved Valentine's Day Update Receives More Bonuses

Developer Studio Wildcard has prepared some new exciting things for the fans of Ark: Survival Evolved. Well, actually, it's for those who play the game's PC version only. The studio is set to give the Valentine's Day event a huge boost through massive bonuses and rewards, among others.

Basically, the Ark: Survival Evolved game received a total of two new patches in celebration of the aforementioned event. As stated in the game's official site, the very first one (v254.93) features a couple of huge bonuses. It was first released on Feb. 12, just in time to pave the way for the Heart's day.

The first Ark: Survival Evolved patch is somehow similar to the current version. It's where players are given the chance to experience various mating processes for their Dinos. Apart from that, they have the opportunity to acquire more boxes of chocolates. The latter are said to have been increased in terms of drop rate. In the game, these are being utilized to fully heal and/or increase the Taming Dino bar (around 50 percent).

As for the second Ark: Survival Evolved update, it's slated to arrive in Feb. 20 -- just 6 days from this day of writing. In its most organic form, it's set to introduce a total of four new Dinos -- namely, Microraptor, Electrophorus, Thylacoleo and Ammonite. Moreover, players can expect a new system or mechanic for the game's TEK underwater structure as well as on the tilesets and doors, among others. Add to that the fact that Studio Wildcard is boosting both the power and shield generators.

In related Ark: Survival Evolved news, the studio has announced the newest milestone the title has acquired. That the game has significantly increased its player pool. Apparently, there are at least 100,000 players on Steam. As for the consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the numbers are around 50,000 and 65,000, respectively.
