Three Must-See Strange Vehicles

The world certainly has its share of odd vehicles, and we at iTech Post have spotted a few. Check out our picks for some of the strangest cars on the road.

1. Hyundai Reveals E4U: An Egg On Wheels At The Seoul Motor Show

When it comes to strange vehicles, few are stranger than a rotating egg on wheels. But that's exactly what you're seeing with the E4U Personal Mobility Vehicle unveiled by Hyundai at the Seoul Motor Show. A one-person vehicle akin to the Segway, the egg even comes with a detachable helmet to add to its strangeness.

2. Toyota i-ROAD: Is It A Car? A Motorcycle? (Video)

Toyota unveiled this vehicle called the i-ROAD and we're not really sure whether it's a car or a motorcycle. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the vehicle has only three wheels and Toyota even claims that the vehicle "can be driven smoothly along roadsides, leaving road lanes open for other traffic." The vehicle is fully electric.

3. The 3D-Printed Urbee II: Stronger, Lighter And More Efficient

Then there's the 3D-printed, ultra-light three-wheeled car called the Urbee 2. Weighing only 1,200 pounds, the Urbee 2 was printed at RedEye's 3D-printing facility through a process called Fused Deposition Modeling. The process results in materials that are as strong as standard car parts but much lighter. Fewer parts are also required. "The thesis we're following is to take small parts from a big car and make them single large pieces," Jim Kor told Wired.
