Another emotional episode is ahead for the hit NBC series. "This is Us" season 1, episode 16 will feature Randall with his biological father, William, in a journey to Memphis. Meanwhile, actor Sam Trammell spilled some details on his character, Ben.

"This is Us" season 1, episode 15 showed Randall's health going downhill. He is battling a late stage cancer and is shown resisting to get help from his nurse. The episode also revealed some juicy details of what might have caused Jack's death. It featured a flashback from when Jack's death nears based on the age of the children during the funeral scene. Jack and Rebecca are as sweet as ever, however, he had a fight with his wife on Valentine's thanks to Ben and reverted to drinking booze.

The official synopsis for "This is Us" season 1, episode 16 via Spoiler TV revealed a William-centric episode. Randall will go on a road trip with William in Memphis, the place where William grew up. The promo for episode 16 shows an emotional Randall. "My father don't have a lot of time left. He very much like to show me where he's from," he said.

The two were also shown having a great time in the streets of Memphis and reminiscing some memories from the past. The synopsis further revealed that Randall will learn more about William's past. The series did not give extra details whether it will be good or bad but it will surely have a large impact on Randall's life.

On the other hand, actor Sam Trammell revealed fans would see more of his character, Ben. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he said it is not Ben's intention to ruin Rebecca's relationship with Jack now that she is married. Ben is Rebecca's ex-boyfriend. However, he added that the tension between the three will get worse. "Let's just say things get more intense. The triangle situation becomes a little more intense. If you want to call it the triangle situation," he said.

"This is Us" season 1, episode 16 titled "Memphis" will air on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
