Pioneer Introduces Lightning Earbuds With Lighting Port

Pioneer has introduced new Lightning earphones, the Rayz and Rayz Plus. The upcoming headsets are unique, which can connect to any iPad, iPod or iPhone via the Lightning port and allow charging and listening to music simultaneously, unlike the traditional 3.5-mm earphones.

'Implicit Lightning Port'

Pioneer's Rayz headphones expand the greater part of the advantages offered by the Lightning Connector. It has no additional batteries required. The Lightning port has the ability to power six onboard microphones and sensor-less ear detection and mapping, and a single in-line charging node, together with a multifunction button.

Ray Plus incorporates an implicit Lightning port that permits users to charge their smartphones while tuning into music. The company revealed that it is the "first" Lightning headset with an inherent "charging node." The Pioneer Rayz lightning earphones utilize the Avnera LightX technology, which uses the least amount of power from the smart devices.

Rayz And Rayz Plus Specs

According to Mac Rumors, the upcoming earphones come with six microphones. These microphones have smart features, which is accompanied by an app that is reported to be released soon. The app can automatically control the EQ and programs with the remote's smart button.

Both models have a Smart Noise Cancellation, which utilizes the canceling of background sounds. It is best for school environments, partying and commuting. Both earphones optimize the listening experience.

Rayz and Rayz Plus have sensor-less ear detection, which controls and pauses the music when an earbud is taken off then automatically resume playback when the earbuds are detected back in. They also have a HearThru mode, which helps regulates ambient sound without removing the earphones, as per The Verge.

Sophisticated Controls

The earphones have standard volume controls, which can control and mute calls. Both models have HearThru, Autopause, voice prompts, Smart Mute and a digital EQ. Pioneer revealed that the Rayz lightning headphone will cost around $99.95, while the Rayz Plus costs $149.95.
