Horizon: Zero Dawn Day One Patch Is Now Live

Releases of day one patches for video games have become common these past few days since developers are utilizing any possible time prior to launch. This is to fix any issues or add additional features. Some of these day one patches would have large sizes; however, this is not the case for Horizon: Zero Dawn, a PlayStation 4 exclusive.

The developer, Guerrilla Games has lately posted information on Twitter about the game's day one patch, thus informing those who are interested that this patch will only have a size of 250MB. Although they have not specified what this day one patch would contain, they have instead said that such information will be revealed during the launch. The small size of the patch could mean that it might not be bringing anything too crucial with it.

The announcement was made towards the end of last month about the completion of the game's development and it is already prepared to be printed on discs. However, the development has always continued after the game has gone gold. It is for the purpose of addressing any issues or for adding any additional content that they can still incorporate into the game.

At present, there are no announcements yet about the DLC-filled season pass of the game. On the other hand, there were rumors about a new mode that will be coming into the game during the latter part of the year. This was not confirmed, though, according to Attack of the Fan Boy.

As for the related news, the developer has lately discussed the origin of the game's truly popular heroine Aloy. It has been said that her rise is truly incredible to notice, especially since she has not existed in most parts of the world until June 2015. Her impressive design has indeed made a statement. Horizon: Zero Dawn will be exclusively launched for PlayStation 4 on Feb. 28.
