Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is not new when it comes to creating a buzz inside and outside the wrestling ring. Yesterday, the People’s Champ made a call that Vince McMahon and Triple H will surely not be proud of.
The Rock Calls CM Punk
The Rock made a surprising appearance on Monday Night Raw last night. As expected, he electrified the crowd like no other. The Rock is well known for his mic skills. He is widely considered as one of the best talkers in the wrestling business history. What makes The Rock watchable is, he does things his way and last night, he showed once again, why he is called The People’s Champ.
Welcome Back, CM Punk?
When Monday Night Raw went off last night, The Rock stayed in the ring which puzzled the fans. Then The Rock started reaching into his pocket and showed his cellphone. Then he dropped the bomb when he said that he was going to call CM Punk, which he did.
The WWE Universe were mystified with what The Rock was doing since they know that CM Punk and WWE is not in good terms. The Rock failed to reached CM Punk but that didn’t stop him. He tried calling several times until he reached his voicemail. The Rock told CM Punk that he is calling him right now in the middle of the ring and it would be awesome if he can see it.
The last time that the WWE Universe saw CM Punk was when he fought in the UFC. Punk loss to a much better fighter but he showed his passion and heart. Vince McMahon and Triple H are not happy with The Rock’s antics. However, the flame has been ignited. There are now speculations that the Straightedge Superstar, CM Punk will make its homecoming at Wrestlemania.
