Abby Lee Miller Goes To Mexico; 'Dance Moms' Star To Face Jail Time Of About 30 Months

"Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller would be off on a trip to spend his final months of freedom on a getaway to Mexico. Court papers from the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania revealed that Miller asked permission to travel to Merida, Mexico on March 2, and Cancun, Mexico on March 3-7.

A report from Radar Online revealed Judge Joy Flowers Conti ruled "no further travel will be authorized prior to sentencing." This means this could be the star's last possible vacation before facing jail time. Miller has been traveling a lot recently. She went on a trip to England from Feb. 16-21 for work.

Previously, Miller's sentencing has been postponed to March 8. According to New York Daily News, she could face jail time of 30 months or probation depending on what will be the result of the court meeting. Law experts revealed that a jail sentence is highly possible for her case. During the first hearing, Assistant U.S. Attorney Greg Melucci did not accept her claims that she kept "Dance Moms" money hidden because she was overwhelmed by the success of the show.

Miller, 50, was indicted on 20 counts of fraud, which includes bankruptcy fraud, false bankruptcy declarations, and concealment of bankruptcy assets dating from 2015. The reality star failed to claim earnings of about $750,000 for the show. She was also accused of transporting $10,000 in Australian currency to the US. Bringing more than $10,000 from a foreign country need to be filed for a currency transaction report.

On the other hand, several reports revealed that filming for the second half of "Dance Moms" season 7 was already concluded last week. Though there is no official confirmation yet, the production has allegedly started filming for "Dance Moms" season 8. This is to compensate for Miller's possible absence while serving her jail sentence.
