Pokemon Sun And Moon New Distribution Event Announced; Here's How To Get The Legendary Monster

A new distribution for Pokemon Sun and Moon has been revealed which gives players a chance to get their hands on a legendary shiny Pokemon. Here is how players can obtain the Pokemon and add it to their team.

Pokemon Sun and Moon Legendary Distribution

According to Siliconera, Pokemon players will now have the opportunity to get a shiny Tapu Koko via digital distribution. However, it is worth noting that the event takes place in Japan as fans in the locality will have to get the monster via a serial code. The distribution begins on Mar. 17 and will last up until Apr. 9 where they have to go to a 7-11 store to get the said code.

Keep in mind that this is the first time the game is giving away a shiny Tapu Koko. While the distribution seems to be area exclusive, there are still other ways for players to grab the monster. To begin with, they can try their luck via the Global Trading System (GTS) or Wonder Trade.

Other Ways To Get The Pokemon

On the other hand, fans could also look for players who are willing to sell their codes online. Tapu Koko is one of the guardian deities in the game that can simply be caught along with its three other counterparts. The said Pokemon resides in the Ruin of Conflict for the majority of the game and even has a few special cutscenes.

After reaching a certain point in the plot, players will engage in combat with the legendary deity where they are presented with the opportunity of catching it. The game describes the monster as a Pokemon that is filled with curiosity and can confuse its enemies by flying too fast for the eyes to follow.

Meanwhile, Tapu Koko is also a great Pokemon that can be used for competitive battling for its ability and stats. Fans in Japan can partake in the upcoming event soon. Those who are interested in the game can buy Pokemon Sun and Moon for the 3DS.
