Death Stranding is an upcoming open world themed game from Kojima Productions. The game rose to fame due to having actors Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen and director Guillermo Del Torro as the main cast. As a result, fans are eagerly anticipating this would be classic, unfortunately it is still in development by Kojima Productions.
Death Stranding And Horizon: Zero Dawn
According to VG247, the PS4 exclusive game Horizon: Zero Dawn contains some hidden items that would give reference to the highly anticipated game Death Stranding. As so, it may come as a shock to some as to why Horizon: Zero Dawn would actually have Easter Eggs about Death Stranding, but the reason is quite simple. Guerrilla Games, the developer of Horizon: Zero Dawn, owns the Decima Engine, in which Kojima Productions uses to develop Death Stranding with. The enormous potential and power of the Decima Engine had Kojima himself refer to it as a "rocket".
Furthermore, it was revealed that there are specifically three items that refer to Death Stranding and each can be collected then traded for a special prize. The three items are the Stranded Necklace and Stranded Shackles, which is on Norman Reedus in the trailer of the game, and the Stranded Figure, which represents the baby doll in the second trailer.
Where To Find The Easter Eggs And What To Do With Them
In an article by Games Radar, the three items are marked in the player's inventory with the Ludens logo, which is the mascot of Kojima Productions. Reading the description of the items in the inventory wouldn't give any information where it is located. However the three items are easily distinguished from the environment as they are highlighted with a purple glow.
The Stranded Necklace can be found at the Grave Hoard. Players need to go to the upper left side of the room until they see two bodies resting on the wall near two light poles, once close, they will see the necklace on one of the bodies. Next is the Stranded Shackles, these can be found at the Z.D. Bunker on a table in one of the rooms. While the Stranded Figure can be found at the All Mother/Eluthia-9, players need to go down a flight of stairs and just to the left of the stairs, the figure can be found.
Once all three are collected, players need to go to Meridian City and find the merchant that has a mysterious box in inventory. Once players have traded the items for the mystery box, they could open it to find "warm socks" among other items.
