New HTC Vive Accessories

More and more tech giants are working towards innovations in the emerging field of virtual reality, as the VR market is developing. Among them, HTC has proved itself as a strong competitor. According to Technowize, the most high-end virtual reality experience is currently offered by the HTC Vive headset.

In order to make the virtual reality experience even more immersive, HTC is offering two new accessories for its Vive VR. The Vive Deluxe Audio Strap is expected to arrive in May and the Vive Tracker will start shipping towards the end of the year.

HTC Vive Tracker Accessory

Vive VR's system new tracking device allows the headset to understand where physical objects are placed in the user's environment. Based on this real-time mapping, the Vive Tracker brings the physical objects into the virtual world. The accessory is great in making the virtual reality experience a more immersive one.

Vive Deluxe Audio Strap

According to PC World, the Deluxe Audio Strap somewhat combines the more rigid designs used by Sony's PlayStation and the VR Rift. The front portion folds down in front of your eyes and then, like a bike helmet, it tightens by way of a wheel in the back. No Velcro straps are needed.

It takes mere seconds to get the headset on and adjusted and with the new Strap, there's no movement at all when you look down towards the ground. The Strap makes a major difference in usability. Thanks to the more rigid design, it always stays adjusted.

The Deluxe Audio Strap, as the name suggest, comes with built-in headphones to improve the headset's comfort level. Even if the premium accessory is positioned as an optional one, it will be a must-buy for most people. Definitely, the Strap is reliable and comfortable, providing the best Vive experience.
