Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Guide How To Become Dark Link

Dark Link has been the most iconic enemies in The Legend of Zelda particularly in Ocarina of Time. What better nod there is to one of the favorite games from the Zelda franchise than to have a Dark Link armor or costume in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This armor has a pretty good set bonus which grants link haste at night.

According to Arekkz Gaming, to get the Dark Link set, the player needs to locate a vendor named Kilton. He'll appear in Skull Lake on the left island after completing a quest called "A Shady Customer." This quest can be located in East Akkala Stable in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Kilton doesn't trade with Rupies, Link needs to grind monster parts and trade them to Kilton for his very own currency called "Mon." The hood costs 2,000 Mon, 1,000 Mon for the Tunic and 1,000 for the trousers. The Dark Link set costs 4,000 Mon overall in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Hinox bosses drop more than a few monster parts and they might make the grinding process quicker. They can be found around Hyrule and they give great weapons as rewards. Their toenails are 15 points, teeth are 18 and sometimes they drop guts that are worth 40 points to Kilton in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

If the player has great gear and decent equipment already, they can go against the Lynel. They are harder to fight even late in the game but they drop guts worth 100 points, horns for 20 and hooves for 30 points. Finding a Lynel to grind for the Dark Link set is sure worth the challenge in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.  Once the player has accumulated enough points, they can go ahead and buy the set from Kilton.
