Phil Spencer Wants Xbox Game Pass To Become More Like Netflix

For those who are Xbox One owners, the Microsoft Xbox One Game Pass seems to be a great deal particularly because it provides access to more than 100 games at a monthly fee of only $9.99. However, Xbox boss Phil Spencer wants it to turn into something more. It is truly a new Microsoft service, and it is similar to EA Access, yet it has more available games that are from numerous developers and publishers.

Spencer said during Major Nelson's podcast that there would be an opportunity to see this game service grow into a program that will show Frontline games/first shipped games coming into Xbox Game Pass as a means to be distributed. He also made a comparison with Netflix and how the service had grown into something bigger, eventually. He also thinks that people have already seen this happen when it comes to TV Space with Netflix. It is evident that Netflix was at first just about movies and TV Shows that people might have missed until it started creating exclusive titles on its own.

Some of the greatest existing TV shows already made into a Netflix original. It is obvious that Netflix has a lot of movies and TV series that they are creating for the service instead of just having a channel that has content, which debuted from other sources.

Phil Spencer also made a revelation about their plans, which could be including the launching of games for the service, thus comparing it to the big success of Netflix. He also went on to say that, the streaming service serves as a role model, according to Gaming Bolt.

As reported by Game Reactor, this episodic and story games do have an actual chance of shining on Xbox Game Pass, although it remains to be seen. However, Spencer is gung-ho about it as not the typical subscription service.
