Final Fantasy XII: Zodiac Age Collectors Edition Revealed; Here's What We Know So Far

Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age will be released on PlayStation 4 in July. As of now, Square Enix will be officially revealing two special editions for the game. On its online store, fans can already pre-order the $200 Collector's Edition that already includes a complete Jude Magisters mini bust set. There is also a much affordable $50 Limited Edition that they can pre-order.

The Collector's Edition bust set will be featuring the likes of different Judge characters in the Final Fantasy 12, which includes Judges Bergan, Drace, Ganranth, Ghis and Zargabaath. Additionally, the $200 offer will have a special Steelbook that has an exclusive art and a soundtrack that will feature a music composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto himself. There will also be a digital code so that fans can unlock the original background music for the game. According to Game Rant, it will have a set of six Art Cards that will be featuring Vaan, Ashe, Basch, Fran and Balthier, Penelo and the world of Ivalice.

Those gamers who will choose to purchase the $50 Limited Edition can have the game with its exclusive Steelbook packaging that has an artwork made by Akihito Yoshida. The code for its background music DLC will also be included. Both of the game's special editions are presently available now for pre-order, but it will be in limited quantities in Square Enix' online store. The Limited Edition will be made available in other outlets at any given time, but the Collector's Edition will be exclusively available in Square Enix' store.

Although this Collector's Edition is indeed impressive, its $200 cost seems to be slightly unreasonable since it is already an 11-year-old game. This price point appears to put the game in the same league as that of the $270 Collector's Edition for the Final Fantasy 15 that debuted last year.
