NBA News: Dwyane Wade To Miss The Remainder Of The Season Due To Injury; Westbrook Doesn't Care What Curry Thinks

The regular season in the NBA has a total of 20 more games left for each team. However, for Chicago Bulls player, Dwyane Wade, his season already ended due to a fractured elbow. Also, Russell Westbrook slams Stephen Curry regarding his MVP predictions.

Dwyane Wade Out For The Season

The NBA playoffs is fast approaching and numerous teams have already secured their positions. The eighth and final spot for both conference are still up for grabs but as for the Chicago Bulls, their hope in getting in the playoffs has been derailed due to the injury incurred by the former finals MVP, Dwyane Wade. During their last game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Dwyane Wade fractured his elbow when he tried to fight for the loose ball. Wade immediately grabbed his elbow and signaled to their bench to be taken out.

Chicago Bulls head coach, Fred Hoiberg, immediately made a substitution to check Wade’s elbow. The physician thought it was just a bruised elbow, but when they further check the scan, Wade suffered a fractured elbow ruling him out of the season. The Bulls did not just lose the game that night, as they lose Dwyane Wade as well.

Shots Fired By Russell Westbrook

On the other hand, The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard and MVP candidate, Russell Westbrook, commented on Stephen Curry’s prediction. The Broadie wasn’t fazed with what has been about him or his chances in winning the MVP. Russell Westbrook expressed, “I don’t care no matter what he said, who is he?" The media wasn’t shocked with Westbrook’s answer and Westbrook seems to like his answer.

Whoever wins the MVP this year, the shots has been fired already by Russell Westbrook. It would be fitting if Golden State Warriors will face Oklahoma City Thunder during the playoffs. Playtime is over and Westbrook is serious in defeating the Warriors.
