Nintendo Switch Update: What Are The Most Wished For Games For The Console?

Nintendo Switch is an amazing console so it can be quite disappointing that Zelda: Breath of the Wild is its only good game. Granted, Zelda: Breath of the Wild is amazing but whether it's enough reason to buy the console is highly debatable. Still, players can't help but hope that more will come for the Nintendo Switch and here are the most wished for games for the console so far.

Games Players Want For Nintendo Switch

Smash Bros. Adding Smash Bros for the Nintendo Switch just makes sense. Although the probability of a Smash Bros release is still undisclosed, it's still significantly high. And players can't wait for the game to come to the console.

Pokémon Stars. Pokémon Stars is rumored to be a version of Pokémon Sun and Moon that is being developed specifically for the Nintendo Switch. Everyone will love to play a Pokémon game for the Nintendo Switch but The Pokémon Company is yet to confirm whether they will be creating a port for the console or if Pokémon Stars is real.

Telltale Games. The development team behind Telltale Games already confirmed that some of their games will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. As to what those games will be is still anyone's guess. However, rumors point to Guardians of the Galaxy and Batman: The Telltale Series due to a few leaks of them being added to online games stores available for the console.

Rocket League. Psyonix's fast-paced action-packed game Rocket League has 29 million registered player base and it's no wonder people want the title to have a Nintendo Switch port. Regarding a release for the console Psyonix wrote, "We are excited as you are regarding the release of Nintendo Switch however, we don't have enough information at this time if it will happen."

Games Where The Developers Said No

Overwatch. Jeff Kaplan already shot down the idea through Reddit when fans asked him about a possible Nintendo Switch port. He said getting Overwatch over to Switch is going to be very challenging for the team but they are always open to exploring other platforms.

Mass Effect: Andromeda. No matter how many players wished hard for Mass Effect: Andromeda to have a Nintendo Switch release, producer Mike Gamble already said no as early as January. They did say, however, that if people really want it on the console the BioWare will reconsider.

South Park The Fractured But Whole. Rumors of South Park The Fractured But Whole has already been shut down by Ubisoft themselves. Although the rumors started from a tweet by the official Twitter account of the game, Ubisoft gave a definitive "South Park: The Fractured But Whole won't be coming to the Switch," answer.
