Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Royal Guard's Claymore Location

Zelda: Breath of the Wild is full of impressive gear and weaponry and the breakable weapon game system makes them all the more precious. Royal Guard's Claymore is one of the best weapons in the game in terms of dealing damage. It has a higher bonus damage and max attack than the Lynel Crusher and it can be located in two different places in the game.

Royal Guard's Claymore In Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

The Royal Guard's Claymore in Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a weapon with an attack rating of 72, which is impressively high in the game's standards. It is a great weapon to save for Calamity Ganon since it doesn't have a high durability so it can break easily in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It can, however, deal a lot of damage and there are two locations in the game where the player can get two Royal Guard's Claymore.

Both Royal Guard Claymores can only be obtained in different locations within Hyrule Castle. There are several entrances around Hyrule castle. The first one the player needs to access to get one of Royal Guard Claymores in Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the entrance near the castle Docks. Simply glide across the castle moat, land on the docks and enter through the side. Use a Cryonis rune to open the gate, when Link enters there will be a cell to his left. Kill the eye monster and the cell will unlock, inside is one of the Royal Guard Claymores.

Second Claymore In Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

The other one is a bit harder to access because Link needs the Zora Armor to swim up the waterfalls. The waterfalls can be accessed by gliding under the bridge that leads to the First Gatehouse of Hyrule Castle in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Swim to the top of the waterfalls then glide down to the side where the entrance will be. Explore it until Link reaches the Guard's Chamber. Kill the Moblin holed up in the chamber and he will drop the second Royal Guard's Claymore. This weapon can also respawn every blood moon so Zelda can obtain more in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
