Fire Emblem Echoes To Get A Limited Edition Bundle Including Unique Pins

The upcoming Fire Emblem Echoes will be releasing later this year with a limited edition copy that includes a few bonus collectibles. The latest installment will focus on both characters Alm and Celica as they fight to achieve peace in the land of Valentia.

Fire Emblem Echoes Limited Edition Revealed

According to Polygon, Echoes will be getting a special edition when it launches this summer. This specific bundle will not only come with the main game but also a soundtrack CD, a hardcover art book and a pin set consisting of a pixelized Celica, Alm and Math. Moreover, this version comes with a reversible cover sheet that is similar to that of the original Famicom game packaging.

The standard game will arrive at $39.99 while the limited edition will be on sale for $59.99. It is worth noting that both the Alm and Celica amiibo will also launch alongside the game. These figurines will cost $24.99 and cannot be bought separately. On the other hand, the Europe and U.K. special edition will already include the amiibos.

Players can actually use both figurines in the game to obtain exclusive dungeons and earn items to level up their units. Furthermore, the figurines can even be used in battle as either Alm or Celica can sacrifice a portion of their health to summon AI heroes for one turn.

Join Alm And Celica's Struggle To Bring Peace

That aside, the official Nintendo website details the overall plot and mechanics of the game. Echoes is a reimagining of the Gaiden installment, which was only released in Japan. This updated title will include better graphics, cinematics and free-roaming 3D dungeons.

Meanwhile, Alm and Celica are pursuing their own personal mission to bring peace to their land. Battles occur in a typical FE style with permadeath included in the game. Fans who want to play Fire Emblem Echoes will be able to buy a copy on May 19.
