Apple Is Set To Release A New Powerful iMac And Pro, Details Inside

Apple has reportedly taken the rare step of pre-announcing major new products, officially confirming that it will release new iMacs later this year and a "completely rethought Mac Pro". In a recent meeting with reporters, according to the source, Apple noted it planned to do more to accommodate "professional users."

Apple is working closely to overhaul the Mac Pro, its most powerful computer, however, that won't be ready until 2018 at the earliest. As for now, Apple is planning to ship a separate computer targetted for professional users later this year, a "pro" version of its iMac desktop. Furthermore, Apple's senior vice president, Philip Schiller confirmed that Apple is working on an update to the iMac, though, the computer used by the majority of Apple desktop consumers, which includes the majority of professional users. "We have big plans for the iMac," Schiller said. "We're going to begin making configurations of iMac specifically with the Pro customer in mind," he added. Also, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, said that the iMac that has been seen an incredible evolution over the past ten years and in today's 5K iMac in its top configurations are incredibly powerful.

Apple is changing the internals of the Mac Pro while it works closely on the new one, a more refreshed variant was available starting Tuesday and these new pro iMacs will most likely to drop later this year.As for Apple fans who want a new Mac Pro now, and can't wait, the company has given the old machine a mild specification bump, according to a source. The £2,999 entry-level configuration will now have the specs previously given to the £3,899 model, while that more pricey model gains faster CPUs and GPUs.
