NFL Draft Updates: Myles Garrett Still The Number 1 Prospect, Marshon Lattimore Not Far Behind

Few more days and the much anticipated NFL Draft is about to begin. There are plenty of draft prospects who are making a late push while others have secured their position already. NFL experts state that the Cleveland Brown is leaning towards the DE Juggernaut, Myles Garrett while the 49ers look to add the versatile CB Marshon Lattimore.

Myles Garrett Is Still Number 1 In The Mock Draft

Fans and experts have already provided their own mock draft and it is clear that Myles Garrett and Marshon Lattimore are the first two picks this season. It might not be official yet as the NFL world was able to witness multiple shockers for the past years. The Cleveland Browns haven’t experienced any success for almost a decade right now and surprisingly they are leaning towards a defensive specialist. The last time the Browns made a buzz on their draft pick is when they drafted a collegiate star name Johnny Manziel. “Johnny Football” was perceived as the next big thing as a quarterback due to his brilliance at the collegiate level. Unfortunately, it didn’t pan out the way the Browns wanted to.

Browns Looking For Defensive Upgrade

The main problem with Cleveland Browns last season was on their defense. As per numbers, Cleveland Browns had an average of 10+ points margin every game. This is the very reason why they need a defensive player like Myles Garrett to anchor their defense. Garrett is already making name for himself at Texas A&M and could be the savior that the Cleveland Browns are hoping for since 2007.

Marshon Lattimore Is For Real

Lastly, the speedster from Ohio, Marshon Lattimore. The 20-year-old cornerback is one of the most feared CB in the collegiate level. His timing and forceful takedowns are second to none. Lattimore is highly admired by its teammates and his coaching staff. Famed NFL analyst states that his game is like the Pro Football Hall of Famer Mel Blount.
