‘Dragon Ball Super' Updates: Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken Explained

During the last few episodes of “Dragon Ball Super”, Goku seems to use the Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken more often. With that said, some fans think that Goku is getting weak as he is being forced to use one of his best forms.

Is Goku Getting Weak?

Ever since Goku started recruiting some of the fighters to represent Universe 7 at the Tournament of Power, it has been his habit using his Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken form. When Goku used it against Krillin on their sparring, some of the show's supporters were stunned for two reasons. First is the perception that Goku is getting weak that’s why he needs to transform. Second, some of the fans think that Krillin is now stronger and was able to break his limit. Right after Krillin, Goku again used the Blue Kaioken form against Android 17. This led to numerous speculations that there must be something wrong with Goku.

Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken Explained

However, those allegations of Goku getting weak was debunked by “Dragon Ball Super” experts and Famed YouTubers. To understand the Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken, fans be aware of what Ki is and the power level that Goku has. When Goku or any other Haiyan transforms into a Super Saiyan, they are basically multiplying their power level but that doesn’t mean that they have a different type of Ki’s. The only problem in transforming to a Super Saiyan is the inability to control the power and Ki’s that are leaking out of the Saiyan’s body.

As for the Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken, Goku used it for the past episodes because its form is more flexible and can be controlled at any given time. Goku has the animal instinct of a Saiyan on his blood which means that Super Saiyan 1-3 might get the best out of him. Goku intended to use the Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken because he wants to make sure that he won’t hurt or kill Krillin and Android 17 in the process.
